A Versace sneaker project that is inspired by football boots. Instead of using the classic Medusa head logo, fluid snakes wrap around the shoe like they are swirling in sand dunes to capture the brand’s bold identity.
The challenge of this project was to find a way to not use the Versace Medusa head logo, but design a shoe that still feels like it aligns with the brand. This design uses the snakes from the medusa head to wrap around the shoe, like the snakes are escaping from the head of Medusa. The color variations are inspired by the current Versace shoe collection on their website 2026 – and the well known black and gold combination of the brand.
